Quilter's Block???

I think for the past month I've had quilter's block. Ever have that? Just the thought of sitting at my sewing machine was impossible. Of course, the depression does not help either, but sewing is just the one thing that I love and takes my mind off of things. Even my husband commented on the fact and said, "I know you're really feeling down if you aren't sewing." So in the last few days even feeling sickly (something is going around) I've managed to finish my Old Virginia Calicos topper and even craft these LIVE, LOVE, LAUGH hearts out of some of the scraps and they are now hanging over my double fireplace and they look so cute. Now I just have to quilt and bind the topper, hmmmmm....

Good for you! I was looking at TV and heard that everyone should find something they really like and spend one day a week doing that. If you do this, it is suppose to make you happier and able to handle the stressors (many these days) of life better. I love quilting and try to do that, but like you sometimes I get a block! Eventually though, I get "unblocked" as I see you have!
