RRCB at a snail's pace!
Yes, I know I'm not the only one still bustin' those hsts for the Roll Roll Cotton Boll mystery Bonnie had for us. I truly believe though that all of Bonnie's mysteries are worth doing. I actually learned how to foundation piece and the string blocks are my favorites! I have opened up my quilting know-how even more for doing this mystery. If you haven't been part of the Bonnie Bonanza yet(doubtful), visit her site by clicking my side button for Take Me To Quiltville! You won't be sorry. It's a little late (but not to late to learn anything new) but thanks a million Bonnie for always being so generous with you quilting savvy!! Happy Quilting everybody!

The actual festival week!!
I am now putting this quilt in the quilt festival. This quilt is Bonnie Hunter's design, Ohio Stars and was made for a graduation present. I love all the swirls in the actual quilting and the design elements from the blue jeans. I've also included a pic of the back. Thanks Amy for doing this! It helps to get to know other quilters! Don't miss this girls. Tag the button on the side to get to the festival!

Time For The Quilt Festival !!!
It's time again for the quilt festival and even though I've not been blogging I could not miss this so I had to make time to do it. This quilt is Bonnie Hunter's design, Ohio Stars. Of course, my borders are different and I have added pics of the back to show some stash busting skills and an up close view of the quilting. I love recycling jeans because they have so many elements, zippers, pockets and rivets that add to the character of the quilt. This one is already on its way to it's new owner, my nephew, Corbin Watson, for his graduation present. CONGRATS CORBIN!! So grab a button at Amy's Creative Side and join in. Thanks a bunch Amy. We love the festival.
